HEADstrong Lacrosse Club Announces Matt Auletti As New General Manager Of South Jersey Boys Program

PHILADELPHIA – The HEADstrong Lacrosse Club has announced that Matt Auletti has been named the new General Manager of the South Jersey Boys program, bringing a wealth of lacrosse experience to the role.

“I’m incredibly honored to be stepping into this role with the HEADstrong organization and thankful for the opportunity,”  Auletti said. “I look forward to continuing to build upon the foundation that has been set in South Jersey and making our athletes better players, teammates and individuals both on and off the field.”

A native of Basking Ridge, New Jersey, Auletti spent four years as a member of the Eastern University men’s lacrosse team where he won a MAC Freedom Championship in 2018. An attackman, he tallied 33 career goals despite missing almost his entire junior season due to injury and then losing the majority of his senior season to COVID-19. No stranger to the HEADstrong South Jersey program, Auletti has been a member of the coaching staff for the past two years.

“We are thrilled to have Matt lead our South Jersey Boys Lacrosse Club,” HEADstrong Vice President Michael Colleluori said. “His leadership, experience and commitment to the HEADstrong mission makes him a perfect fit for the role. We’re proud to be able to hire from within the HEADstrong family and can’t wait to see the positive impact he has on the club and the local lacrosse community.”

A year-round program, HEADstrong South Jersey Boys Lacrosse Club provides a personalized and individualized coaching environment for players in the greater South Jersey and Philadelphia metro regions. That includes fall team training sessions, fall tournament play, winter skill development sessions, summer team training and tournament play in addition to community service under the HEADstrong Foundation umbrella.
