10 Days Left Until Our First Practice!

09/06/2018, 10:15am EDT
By 10 days and counting...

We are now TEN DAYS away from our opening Fall Practice! Just a few quick reminders:

-Practice will be from 1-2:30pm for 2023-2026 teams, followed by 2020-2022 from 2:30-4pm. All Fall practices will be held at Episcopal Academy's turf!

-Ahead of the first practice, we need ALL families to complete the registration for the coming year and make sure they are current on their US Lacrosse membership. US Lacrosse insures all players, so this is a good thing!

-We are pretty close to capacity on all of our teams, with a few exceptions at 2022 and 2025/26. If anyone has friends at those ages who'd be interested in checking us out, please let us know and we'd love to bring them out to the first practice to give us a look!

-As always, you can reach Dave by email/phone with any questions ahead of the first week. His cell is 484-947-3201 and email is paged@upenn.edu

About HEADstrong Quakers

We are a club that prioritizes three things above all else:

  • Coaching: All of our teams are lead by a College Coach, ensuring that players are given the best instruction possible, and giving our older boys a leg up in the recruiting process.
  • Improvement: With great coaching comes improvement, and we want our boys to focus on the process of becoming a better lacrosse player rather than short-term shortcuts to win at the expense of improvement.
  • Fun: Lacrosse is the best sport out there, and it should be FUN. We believe that as long as players are working hard, getting excellent coaching and having fun, they’ll want to play this game for a long time and reach their potential.

Everything we do supports the HEADstrong Foundation and their goal to support families affected by Cancer, and we always want to represent the Foundation with the highest quality people and families we can!
